Registration is now open for #GirlTalk
This FREE program is called “GIRL TALK.” Our goal is to enroll 10 young ladies per session, ages 12-19.
Refreshments/lunch and supplemental supplies will be provided. We will cover topics such as:

--Tapping into your Greatness now·  
--Building Self-Confidence and Esteem·      
--Values, Morals and Character Building·      
--Identifying and Coping with Anxiety and Depression·      
--Anti-Bullying·      
--The Important of Making Good Choices·      
--Relationship Building·      
--Behavior of a Young Lady·      
--Being Responsible and Respectful·      
--Social Media Etiquette·      
--The Importance of Getting Good Grades Now - Thinking About College·      
--Financial Literacy – Understanding Money·      
--DEI, Exploring Race, Bias and Identity·      
--Giving Back to “OUR” Community 


PROGRAM DATES & TIME: Girl Talk

The program will be held three days a week on Tuesday and Thursday at 5:15pm – 6:30pm and
Saturdays at 10am – 12pm.
Groups will take place at a centralized accommodating location in Hartford. 

Session 1: 6/12/2023  – 7/8/2023
Session 2: 7/17/2023  – 8/12/2023
Session 3: 8/21/2023  – 9/16/2023
Session 4: 9/25/2023  – 10/21/2023

The "Summer Reading Adventures" program is an exciting initiative to encourage young readers to keep up their reading habits during the summer break. It promotes a love of reading and learning while preventing the summer slide. With engaging themed reading challenges, fun activities, virtual reading sessions, and a chance to win book-related prizes, the program will surely be a hit with kids and families.

Objective
:
To cultivate a love for reading and learning among young students
To encourage students to broaden their horizons and explore new ideas through books
To provide a fun and engaging summer reading experience for students
